Various team members meet almost every Tuesday night & Saturday morning for Group Runs. People run anywhere from 3 to 20 miles and the pace is from 6-minute to 15-minute miles.
We look forward to you joining us and sharing our passion—running (or to just get moving again).
We also participate in team races throughout the year. We'd love for you to be part of our teams!

To all our old friends, and the new friends we hope to make:
In cooperation with state, local, and USATF guidelines, the Clifton Roadrunners Club is not engaging in or authorizing organized (in-person) group runs. Our members’ health is our first consideration, and we encourage people to make wise decisions when gathering with others, including social distancing and wearing masks.
Many runners have taken to joining with others in small groups for safe-running training, and it’s good to see friendships continue. Our club has always prided itself on bringing people together, and we encourage them to keep making safe choices and keep group runs to fewer than 10 people.
We continue to be a big virtual presence in the running community, and have sponsored monthly free virtual races to establish community between us. Please join us for one of these events!

For the Clifton RoadRunners, if you let your captain know you will be running in advance, and arrive on time, you WILL be on a team!
All NJUSATF championship events for 2020 have been cancelled. We cross our fingers that 2021 will see us renew our friendships and once again compete with the best athletes in the state.

Runners can join us for speed training, or just to jog around the track if you're not ready to push yourself. There's nothing like group support to help you achieve great new heights! We're all pulling for each other.
Saturday Morning Runs

Runners gather at 8 am during the hot months, 9 am otherwise, to run anywhere from 2 to 20 miles and get to know each other better.
Winter Bun Runs
Sundays at Various Members' Homes
A bun run is a group run each Sunday in the winter, hosted at a member‘s home. We arrive by 8:45 a.m. dressed and ready to run. The host provides a course from three to eight miles so there is a distance for everyone. You can choose to go shorter or longer. The run begins at 9 a.m. sharp!
After the run, we change into dry clothes and the host provides the entire gang with breakfast. The cost is only $2.00 to help the host defray costs.
We host bun runs throughout the long winter months to help members keep up with their running, to mingle and bond with club members. Bun runs are a long-time favorite and turn into parties each Sunday! Anything is bound to happen when a group of us get together!.
This is a great way to meet the gang in a very informal, friendly, fun atmosphere.
